Oral or Poster Abstract Topics
Abstract topics should focus on the environmental dimensions of AMR, including in agri-food and healthcare settings, in water and waste management, and in wildlife and communities. We invite authors to share information about a broad range of activities and projects related to the environmental dimensions of AMR with meaningful insights for research, education, and policy. Authors considering a multi-dimensional/multi-sectoral One Health approach to AMR are strongly encouraged to submit an abstract.
Themes
While we particularly welcome abstracts that address the conference themes outlined below, we also encourage submissions that extend beyond these categories.
- Animal health, zoonoses, and environmental AMR
- Ecology and biology of AMR
- AMR omics, informatics and/or AI supported analysis
- One Health AMR drivers, modelling and risk assessment
- Advancing policy, guidance and best practice
- Interventions and technologies to mitigate AMR
- Political economy, sociology and behavioural sciences
- One Health and indigenous knowledge systems
- AMR biosecurity challenges and agricultural production risks
- Fungicide resistance, stewardship and crop management
- Environmental AMR and public health
- AMR risk management in the water cycle
- AMR in a changing environment
- Other / Emerging themes
Word Limit
The online abstract submission process has a word limit set to a maximum of 400 words per abstract. This does not include authors’ names and affiliations.

Create a title that concisely and accurately portrays the content of the abstract (20 words maximum).

Please use the following subtitles in your abstract:
- Background: Clearly state the purpose of the work and its specific objectives.
- Method: Describe the procedures/activities or methodology used to conduct the work.
