All Projects
SAAFE’s national consortium of researchers are working together with industry and government partners on significant projects to co-design, develop, assess and implement systems and solutions to mitigate the complex threat of AMR.
SAAFE’s integrated programs tackle AMR through a coordinated approach spanning monitoring, analytics, and practical solutions.
The Monitoring Program tracks AMR spread across environments and supply chains, informing risk assessment and guiding national best-practice standards.
The Analytics Program leverages digital and market data to enhance decision-making and support AMR governance, helping maintain Australia’s reputation for safe, high-quality food exports.
Building on these foundations, the Solutions Program develops targeted interventions to improve water and waste management, reduce AMR transmission, and promote sustainable industry practices.
Collectively, these efforts aim to boost production, reduce treatment costs, and protect public and environmental health.
