PhD Proposal Applications
Applications are now open for PhD Project Proposals. SAAFE is supporting projects across our consortium that address priorities for the food, agriculture and environmental sectors. See below for details.
HAVE A PhD PROJECT IN MIND?
Like all SAAFE projects, PhD proposals should be driven by an identified industry need. Projects can be submitted under 3 categories:
> Student-proposed project
> University-proposed project
> Co-designed project with university and industry partner
All SAAFE PhD students receive:
>A scholarship valued at $45,000 per year for 3.5 years full-time equivalent (FTE). This includes a base university stipend of $30,000 supplemented with a SAAFE top-up scholarship of up to $15,000 per year for 3.5 years FTE.
>$21,000 professional development fund to accelerate their career and contributions towards project consumables to bolster their research impact.
