Aims: This workshop aims to help participants explore how antimicrobial resistance evidence is interpreted, contested, and translated into policy across human, animal, and environmental domains.

Background: Antimicrobial resistance is a complex One Health, yet policy responses are often fragmented across sectors. The workshop uses a role-play simulation to explore how evidence, stakeholder priorities, and trade-offs shape policy action.

Workshop Participants and Activity: The workshop is designed for a broad, interdisciplinary audience, including researchers, practitioners, and policy stakeholders from any sector or level of expertise. It uses an interactive role-play simulation with small group breakout discussions, deliberation, and reflection to create a hands-on experience with cross-sector dialogue.

Participants will:

Take part in a role-play simulation on AMR policy deliberation.
Explore how AMR evidence is prioritized and contested in policy settings.
Deliberate across disciplinary and sectoral perspectives.
Explore trade-offs involved in translating AMR science into policy action.
Identify strategies to strengthen science-to-policy translation in AMR.
